Meet the Tutor!
Ale Wood
Ale (pronounced AL-EE) is a classroom teacher in Los Angeles who currently teaches Spanish to PreK-8th Graders. She has been an educator for over 8 years as a teacher and tutor. She has taught and tutored a wide variety of subjects to PreK-1st Year College Students. Her self proclaimed superpower is teaching kids, no matter their age or grade, how to read, comprehend, and advance past their grade level. She specializes in teaching students with learning disabilities, autism, and various other support needs.
Learning is one of the most fulfilling things for her, and she wants to grow a love of learning in every child that she works with. Every child learns differently, and every child is unique; Ale sees each child for WHO THEY ARE. She tailors absolutely every session with each student to fit their needs, interests, and areas of growth. One thing that you and your child will always know while working with her: she cares so deeply about each student, she will go above and beyond the call of duty time and time again. In addition to building rapport with all of her students, she works to get to the heart of the challenges each child has and builds their abilities as well as their confidence in themselves and their knowledge.
